EDGC Healthcare signed a $2 million supply contract with SYNLAB (Synlab Holding GmbH) on March 25 following the initial supplies completed on 19th.

SYNLAB is a leading provider of laboratory diagnostic services based in Germany with annual sales of about 1.9 billion euros (about 2.6 trillion won) as of 2017 around Europe. The laboratory currently operates a total of 42 branches in 34 European countries, Middle East and South America, provides more than 500 million testing services annually to medical institutions including general hospitals and small check-up centers.

“SolGent’s diagnostic reagents were tested in SYNLAB and the quality was proven suitable.” EDGC added. “We will contribute to the early end of the pandemic by using our global network.”, also quoted.

According to EDGC, SolGent's COVID-19 diagnostic reagents obtained approvals from both Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and CE last month, additionally acquired export approval on 17th. It recently obtained approval from Thailand FDA following the approval from Philippines FDA, and the U.S. FDA is currently reviewing the Emergency Use Authorization of the products.
