EDGC announced on April 24 that it will be closely cooperating with companies in IT, steel and automobile industry to supply hundreds of thousands of COVID-19 testing kits to end the pandemic.

According to EDGC, “Official use of the SolGent’s COVID-19 diagnostic kits have been registered in Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Canada, CE (Europe), and the United Nations and U.S., Australia, Malaysia, Brazil, Russia, United Kingdom, and Portugal are currently in progress.” In addition, SYNLAB, which has been supplied with COVID-19 test kits for a total of three times has given an excellent rating to the products based on its own conformity assessment.

SYNLAB is a leading provider of laboratory diagnostic services based in Germany with annual sales of about 1.9 billion euros, provides more than 500 million testing services annually to medical institutions including general hospitals and small check-up centers. EDGC is planning a long-term supply through a strategic partnership with SYNLAB in the future.

Shin Sang-cheol, co-president of EDGC said “Along with SolGent, we have supplied COVID-19 diagnostic kits to more than 40 countries around the world. We are working with each country and organizations to overcome COVID-19 pandemic and return to our daily life.”

Meanwhile, high increase in performance is expected due to the overseas sales of COVID-19 testing kits.
