According to EDGC, EDGC Healthcare signed a full supply contract to export COVID-19 diagnostic kits from its affiliate, SolGent to Philippines and Myanmar and initial batch will be sent via air on April 3.

EDGC said, “We know that the Philippines and Myanmar exports are government requests by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. SolGent’s COVID-19 diagnostic kits are the first contract to supply directly to Southeast Asia after obtaining FDA approval in the Philippines and Thailand, and it is expected to contribute to the early end of the pandemic situation of COVID-19 throughout Southeast Asia.”

EDGC is also negotiating supply contracts with other Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, and European countries such as Italy, Britain and Denmark, including Kazakhstan.

Meanwhile, EDGC will donate SolGent’s COVID-19 diagnostic kits to India government. EDGC launched a local joint venture with India’s 10th largest business group, Phoenix Group and India’s largest neonatal hospital, Rainbow Children Hospital to target 13 trillion Indian market where 27 million babies are born annually, starting with the product called NICE, a Non-Invasive Parental Test. This news was officially announced at NEOCON 2019 in December.
