EONE-DIAGNOMICS Genome Center(EDGC) executes clinical genetic testing and provides specialized diagnoses so that individual genome information can be used to make personalized prescriptions. EDGC insists, "Medical benefits in Korea are the best, but if we focus on treatment only, we can not stop the waste of national medical expanses. So medical services by genetic testing before the disease comes should be a generalization". EDGC currently conducts 12 kinds of genetic testings. And its own NIPT(Non-Invasive Prenatal Test) got attention first in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Europe than in Korea. Min Seob Lee(Ceo of EDGC) said, "Now, related large companies in Korea should focus on field that will be advanced to target drug development and customized medicine from genetic companies and drug development companies. We should not ignore difficulties caused by diseases in families. I hope that our research results will be actively commercialized in Korea."
