SolGent becomes FEMA supplier

EDGC announced on the 8th that its affiliate SolGent has been registered as the first Korean company for stockpile procurement by the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency and will initially export the new COVID-19 test kits for 150,000 people.

 

“As SolGent is now registered as official supplier of FEMA, we will be able to supply new COVID-19 test kits and 40 other diagnostic kits, including the Middle East Respiratory syndrome.” said EDGC. COVID-19 diagnostic kits developed by SolGent is currently undergoing official approval of permanent use from the FDA.

 

“Becoming the first test kit maker to supply to FEMA is a reaffirmation of the excellence and reliability of Korea’s molecular diagnosis technology worldwide in the battle against the COVID-19. We are planning to construct our facility in U.S. to provide stable supplies of our test kit, DiaPlexQ for 51 U.S. state goverments.” CEO of SolGent, You Jae-hyung mentioned.
